Have You Heard About Lesotho?

Kind people like you are often moved by the needs of others who are destitute. There is a small community of 200 such young and old people in a tiny desolate village of mud huts in LESOTHO. If you were there you would surely be moved to tears. You would see little smiling children with little food, dressed in rags, wearing the remains of shoes with worn soles and little straps of the uppers left.

You would think of the great blessings you have when you ask these destitute, but happy people, where the doctor, clinic, nurse or hospital are. The answer would be that there are none! You will have a “lump in your throat” after you learn more about these people; you flick a switch for lights, cooking and heating. Few of them have ever seen a switch. You will be happy to support your child’s school with pain in your heart. They have none!

You will worship your Lord God tearfully with gratitude in your lovely house of God.

They do not even have a shelter in which to pray together.

They have tried to do very helpful things and have already started to build a little place of worship.

These employees wish to be your servants and representatives to carry your blessings and gifts to this LESOTHO village for you to the glory of God and your blessing.

There is a little group of employees of a motor manufacturing company in Durban, South Africa who, through no planning of their own, have been to that LESOTHO destitute village several times and were moved as you are now.
